Holly and I both suggested a green theme for this month's box as Earth Day falls in April. Kaitlyn listened and agreed! This is near and dear to my heart for obvious reasons: my love of Arbonne and pure/safe/beneficial products as well as my vegetarian diet. I was thrilled to share items I love and trust with someone!
This month, I was teamed up with Natalie from At Home with The Hinkleys and Nicole from Sparkle, Baby, Sparkle! I had a blast following and getting to know both.
Natalie is very fun and opinionated and blogs on just about every topic under the sun - really! Politics and current events one day to a Birchbox review the next. It seemed like a challenge at first, but I chose some products I thought were neat that would suit her personality and interests.
You can take a closer look at the box I sent her here.
Miss Nicole is busy being a student and saving the world. Her blog is a clear reflection of the good she is doing at every opportunity and has certainly challenged me to want to do more myself. She is quite the busy bee, but the box she sent me was spot on! I am continually surprised at how observant a stranger can be when I open these boxes each month.
Here's what I opened up from Nicole this month:
A lovely note of encouragement |
Adorable travel-themed notebooks. I LOVE how portable these are |
Method hand soap - in cucumber. Yum! |
Reusable mug. Super cute! Fingers crossed that my clumsy self doesn't break it anytime soon - it is glass! |
The good stuff! We all know Burt's Bees makes an awesome lip balm. They are one of my favorites. |
Sweet Basil Grow Kit. Knowing me and my black thumb, I'm glad to have this as a redo (or just for more herbs) in case I messed up the first time. |
I'm already stoked to see what May brings! It is so much fun to get to know people this way!
Take a look at my previous Cara Boxes:
I love the notebooks and the mini greenhouse!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and cute box to receive! I love the water bottle so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog on The Collective and just started following on GFC. Cara Box sounds like a lot of fun! I love the idea of a glass mug, but I already broke a glass water bottle my aunt gave me when I started law school so I don't imagine a glass mug would survive long around me :(

Maybe next month I will work on my packaging - ya'll make your packages look so cute! And I hear ya on the black thumb!

Everyone's boxes are so fun! Good suggestion on the theme, even though I thought I wouldn't be able to find much I was wrong! Thanks for stopping by my blog today ();

How fun!! And nice work choosing the theme! It was a fun one and a good way to get me to start thinking "green". I really love the mug. Hope you don't break it!!! ha I would say the same thing - I always drop stuff :)

What a great idea, sounds like you guys have a great surprise each month. I just realised you are an Arbonne consultant. That is the absolute best stuff. I adore their mineral power. The best I've ever used. I am on the wrong side of 40 so I should know.

Wah, I didn't do it this month, and SOOO regret it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your partner wasn't so shaby.
Like the new pic you are using to leave comments, btw. You look great.
I love fresh basil. It keeps fly's away in my kitchen and goes with tons of food!
